Oh Bangkok Hostel

Summary

OH BANGKOK HOSTEL is located near Bangkok’s iconic Khaosan Road district. We are brand new to the hostel scene, first opening our doors in July 2016. Our hostel was built by a few Canadian travellers following their passion for travel with the aim of providing budget accommodations without sacrificing comfort. We’ve been reviewed and recommended by popular and long time travel bloggers such as Travel Dave UK.

Our hostel is conveniently located close to Khaosan Road (10 minute walk) and only minutes away buy taxi or tuk tuk to Hua Lumphong train station and major tourist sites such as the Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha and Wat Pho (famous reclining Buddha). Wat Arun can also easily be reached by a short boat ride across the Chao Phraya River. While the Khasoan Road area has traditionally been known as ground zero for travelling backpackers, the area is arguably now most well known for its cool bars, lively night life and some of the best food that Bangkok has to offer. It’s the best area in city to live, laugh and meet new friends.

We offer a spacious lobby with a comfortable lounge area offering an Android box loaded with movies and games for your entertainment. In addition to a quaint street front patio, we offer a unique outdoor bamboo patio to relax, socialize and have a drink. It’s our little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. After a fun day of site seeing or night of partying, head back to the quiet neighbourhood of Oh Bangkok to enjoy a good night’s sleep. The social environment of the hostel is great for making new friends and planning new adventures together. We also provide free fast and stable wifi to keep you productive and connect while on you are on the road.

All our rooms come with comfy beds, clean fresh linens, and electrical outlets at each bed to charge your electronics. Lockers are provided to keep your personal belongings safe. An entire floor is dedicated to washrooms separated for men and women. Note, the female only dorm will also have its own washroom inside the dorm.
