Choosing an area in London to stay in is no easy task, but after visiting Camden, it is clear that it should be at the top of any visitor’s list.

The St. Christopher’s Inn Camden is the perfect base for exploring this lively borough in northwest London. The hostel is walking distance from two London underground stations on the Northern Line- Camden and Mornington Crescent, as well as King’s Cross St. Pancras train station. Once you walk out of the front door, pubs and restaurants of every cuisine imaginable surround you. A short walk down the road and you’ll find Camden Market, Camden Lock, Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill. The market and lock area feature a colorful and artsy collection of unique shops and food stalls, while flower-filled Regent’s Park is one of the most beautiful green spaces in the city, and Primrose hill is a great vantage point from which to have a picnic or take in the views. If you’re a music lover, the hostel is only steps away from some legendary venues including Koko and the Roundhouse.

Not only are you situated in the heart of an incredible area, the hostel itself is a social hub set above a popular bar chain, Belushi’s. There are quite a few perks to this partnership, as you can have an amazing night out and never have to leave the building! Guests enjoy 25% off of food, which also happens to be pretty incredible, and there are 2-for-1 deals on selected drinks all day. They also run deals and events nightly, such as open-mic nights on Mondays. If you feel like exploring the area with a guide, sign up for a free walking tour or join a pub-crawl. If you’re traveling solo, you won’t have any problems making new friends.

The hostel features a variety of room types, including a private twin room with ensuite bathroom, private 6 or 8 bed with ensuite bathroom, mixed or female 6 bed with ensuite, mixed 8 bed with ensuite, or mixed 10 bed with ensuite. Every room is accessible with a digital key card, there is no curfew, and reception is open 24 hours. The beds come with warm and comfortable linens, however if you need a towel, you’ll need to buy or rent one from reception. The WiFi is free and strong both in the rooms and in the bar downstairs, and there’s also a basement level Chill Room with a couch, TV and a variety of DVDs, and basic kitchen area. You can also find a free laundry room on this level, and the luggage storage if you aren’t traveling light.

Every morning, a continental buffet breakfast is served in the back bar area from 07:00-09:30 AM, and includes basics such as cereal, toast, ham and cheese to make sandwiches, tea, coffee, and juice. If you’re not an early bird, their regular breakfast menu is delicious and again, is 25% off!

If you’re looking for a great hostel, a social atmosphere, and delicious food and drinks in the heart of Camden, St. Christopher’s Inn couldn’t be a better option!
