Our staff works hard to make our hostel a warm and welcoming place for our guests, providing the best experience possible, so that you can find a home away from home and make some unforgettable experiences. Staying with us is an opportunity to meet like-minded travelers from all over the world, make new friends, and experience San Diego like a local - the nightlife, the beaches, the history and the food!
In one of San Diego’s most laid-back neighborhoods, California Dreams Hostel - Ocean Beach is the perfect place to chill with friends on your visit to sunny Southern California. Get a surfboard or boogie board and ride the waves at Ocean Beach less than two miles away, relax by the backyard fire pit with fellow travelers or take a snooze in our double-wide hammock, or spend your days experiencing San Diego’s beach-community lifestyle. In the evening, take in a spectacular sunset at Sunset Cliffs.
Our activities are posted weekly, they are subject to change - but if you call, email or text us ahead of time, we can inform you of the most recent changes. We offer rentals on property and also in our sister property in Pacific Beach. Speak to the front desk about pricing and availability.
